Jason has been cutting myself and my son’s hair for years. He is a great barber and an honest person. Love we can finally make appointments which works better for our busy schedules. He is an honest person and has become a part of our family. And if you don’t have an appointment he is worth the wait!

I have been going to Star Barber Shop to have Jason cut my hair for over 20 years, and he is simply the best and most talented barber in the Winchester/Frederick County area. Even though he services countless customers, Jason not only recalls all of his regular’s names but also exactly how they like their hair cut. He is very personable and one of the hardest workers I have ever known. The countless number of returning customers is a testament to the mastery of his barbering skills.

I got my haircut at Star Barber Shop on New Year’s Day, and it was the perfect way to start the year. Jason was the barber who cut my hair and did an excellent job. On top of that, we had a great conversation during the haircut, which made the experience even better. It was a terrific way to greet the new year—a new, great haircut that I’m pretty pleased with! The store was incredibly well-lit, with festive touches that warmed the place. My favorite was the giant Christmas tree, probably one of the largest and most impressive trees I have ever seen inside a barber shop! Thank you, Jason and the rest of the Star Barber Shop team, for an excellent time. I will undoubtedly be back, and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a great haircut and atmosphere! For future customers, keep in mind that this place is cash only.

Jason is an excellent barber! Maybe the best in Winchester! He forms wonderful relationships with young customers. My son does not want to go anywhere else when it is time for a haircut. He often gets compliments on his haircut, especially when we traveled for Christmas. Jason also does a nice job trimming my beard.

I have been going to Jason for about 8 years now and there isn’t anyone else I would want to cut my hair! He is personable, on time, and a true expert at his craft. After just a couple haircuts, he had what I get done memorized. His prices are reasonable and you can even call now to setup a future appointment so you don’t have to wait. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Jason is an amazing barber. I have been going to him for at least 2 years and he has never once given me a bad haircut. He is also very talkative and personable and will always remember you and put a smile on your face.

My go-to barber! I’ve been going to Jason for a couple of years now and have to say that I am never disappointed. He is a genuinely nice person who takes interest in his regulars and engages in friendly conversation for those that want it. He’s friendly, affordable, timely, and (most importantly) always provides a great cut! As a heads up, this is a cash only establishment. Also, he’s frequently got a line of folks waiting and/or with scheduled appointments because he’s just that popular. I strongly encourage calling ahead for an appointment as opposed to just walking in to skip the wait.
